Edgings and trim ends can now be economically and simply hogged right at their source, eliminating the need for elaborate conveying systems or the expense of dumping boxes.
A large shop may use several mini-hogs at various sources such as the rip saw, finger joint trim backs, trim saw or tennenors. The small shop might use only one unit to serve as a general purpose hog.
