Now the operator can adjust widths, heights, fence position and other crucial functions without moving around the machine. With its improved ergonomics, MOl's new design is safer, easier and less expensive to operate than any other chain feeder on the market. MOl also reconfigured the head assembly to handle shorter boards - an important feature for waste conscious rough mills. MOl's lateral chain feeder is a key component of any high-speed infeed or outfeed system. Improving the little things in your plant to increase your production and add to efficiency can make a big difference in profits. We had a better idea for a Moulder Feed Table — an area overlooked even by the moulder manufacturer — and here it is! We incorporated into our design vertical conveyor type rollers along the fence to eliminate the friction between the fence and the piece feeding through. The dual angle bumper also reduces load against the piece feeding through. The straight feed-wheel, not angled as bottom rolls, runs cooler and feeds better. Also standard is a bridge for the gap between machines that provides a catch up area, reducing over speeding of the feed table. Optional hold down wheels can be added on the bridge. Set up time is minimal — all adjustments are made by hand without tools. The bumper can be repositioned quickly and with solid clamping. A speed indicating dial is provided for repeating machine feed rate settings. An air cylinder with manual over-ride valve lifts the top feed-wheel when the moulder is not in FORWARD RUN mode. There is a self-locking hand wheel adjustment for the floating top feed-wheel height. We know the importance of keeping your equipment running. For this reason we used a high quality modular 2 HP mechanical variable speed drive that you may obtain parts for nearly anywhere. Nothing to unbolt — all covers hinge to open for inspection, lubrication and maintenance. We have used hardened tooth sprockets with taperlock bushings throughout for ease of replacement. And all thru shafts of rolls are mounted in “T.L.” type bushings for fast replacement and minimum downtime should repairs be necessary.

Mid-Oregon's new Feed System allows the coupling together of your Double End Tenoner and Moulder with our High Speed Feed System. Our system will eliminate two people that now off stack the tenoner and feed the moulder. The system is variable speed up to 600 FPM, and can handle parts as short as 6" long with variable width and height. Extension table is removable for hand operation if needed. Our system will eliminate personnel costs and increase your production.
