Specifications
Frame - Structural steel members are welded into an integral unit which is machined for
      uniformity & accuracy.
An alloy steel shaft, 2-15/16" diameter, is the arbor, chromed and ground, with machined "T"
shaped keyways to accept shifter straps.
Saws are patented "No Bind" design, 12" diameter, 36 tooth wide 0.125" Kerf. Saw life up to 10 shifts
between sharpening. Saw change takes place in less than an hour.
Two cutterheads, one fixed and one setting, are each mounted on vertically oriented arbors.
Cutterheads can remove up to 3/4" of edging.
Dust Removal-Two 6" and one 8" diameter pipes are furnished for connection to the plant pneumatic
conveying system. Two pipes service the cutterheads and one is located in the hood, directly
      over the saws.
Sawdust Bins-Two bins are furnished for collecting sawdust under the saws and cutterheads.
Sawdust can be removed from the bins pneumatically or by chain conveyor.
Lubrication-An automatic oiler lubricates the main arbor bearing, the bridge arbor bearings and the
setting cutterhead carriage. A spray system applies and air-oil mixture to: the bridge tree support
shafts, the saw arbor and the saw collar.
Sub-Base-A fabricated steel base is available as an option for elevating the ripsaw to its proper height
as well as providing mounts for the sawdust collection bins.
Feedworks
multimatic ripsaw feedworksMaterial is moved through the ripsaw via a series of Press Rolls and Feed Rolls.   At the infeed, the material is supported on bed plates and moved over' a 6" diameter driven roll to a 4" diameter driven roil, followed by a short anvil plate, and then into the saws.   The boards are held fast against the feed rolls by two consecutive 9-5/8" diameter urethane-covered Press Rolls.   Following the saws, material is supported by bed plate and moved over a 4" diameter idler roll to either a take-away belt or to a 6" diameter idler roll, depending on the outfeed system following the ripsaw. Again, the material is held fast against the bed rolls, or belt, with powered Press Rolls. The first Press Roll following the saws is 9" in diameter and urethane covered. The second roll is 9-5/8" in diameter with a smooth steel finish.

Additional Features
Hydraulically driven top rolls can be independent, canted or run in line. (No sprocket or U-joints.)
This saw can be set up for your maximum yield.
Infinite speed feed control (50-300 fpm) lets you work to optimum arbor power, whatever the situation;
also permits tailoring the feed rate to your material handling flow.
Rigid "C" shape offers plenty of room on wide rips and panels.
The undercutting blade is an important advantage. Maximum safety, productivity and rigidity require an
undercutting blade. An overcutting saw tends to pick up the cut-off stock and slivers and forcefully
kick them back at the operator. In comparison, undercutting blades hold the ripped-off stock down
       against the rolls.

WHY SETTLE FOR SLOW,   high maintenance dip chain equipment. This saw's solid! Everything about it echos Mid-Oregon's emphasis on long equipment life. The main arbor is 2-3/4" in diameter for constant geometry at every load or speed. We have built a saw you can depend on.
